Recording Songs with GRAND VIDEOKE

Recording Songs with GRAND VIDEOKE Symphony (TKR371MP)

  1. Search for a song that you want to sing, then press ‘REC’ on your remote. Song recording will start instantly.
  2. To see your recorded songs, press the ‘REC’ button on your remote while you are at the home screen then select ‘REC List’.
  3. To playback your recorded song, select a song from the REC List and press START. You may copy your recorded songs to a USB or SD Card. Just select the songs that you would like to copy by pressing SEL on each of the songs, or press ‘0’ to select all. Then press RES to copy the songs to a USB or SD Card. The copied songs will be in MP3 format. You can play the songs with almost any multimedia device such as smartphones, tablets, CD players, computers and car stereos.

  1. Search for a song that you want to sing, then press ‘REC’ on your remote. Song recording will start instantly.
  2. To see your recorded songs, press the ‘REC’ button on your remote while you are at the home screen then select ‘REC List’.
  3. To playback your recorded song, select a song from the REC List and press START. “You may copy your recorded songs to a SD Card (up to 32GB size). Make sure the main unit is off when inserting the SD Card. After inserting, turn on the main unit.
    On the main screen, press MENU on your remote control, then go to “”Config””, then to “”Record/User Photo””. Select SD Card by pressing the left/right directional buttons, then press SEL to confirm. Your songs will automatically be recorded to the SD Card in MP3 format.” Enjoy listening your recorded songs with almost any multimedia device such as smartphones, tablets, CD players, computers and car stereos.

How to use the USB/SD card function

The GRAND VIDEOKE is not just a portable videoke machine. It is also a full-fledged HD multimedia player – you can play karaoke songs, videos, movie, MP3 music and photo slides.

USB/SD CARD VIDEOS AND PICTURES

The GRAND VIDEOKE Symphony supports USB flash drives and hard drives (USB hard drives up to 1TB for FAT32 format)
and SD Cards for multimedia playback (support up to 32GB).
The GRAND VIDEOKE Harmony & Rhapsody suppports SD Cards up to 32GB.

INTERNAL MEMORY PICTURES

To access your multimedia, just insert your USB or SD Card and press [USER] on the remote.

Select the type of multimedia that you would like to play — MUSIC, VIDEO or PICTURE. After selecting, a file explorer will show up.

If you have connected both your USB and SD Card, the Grand Videoke will let you select the external media source.

The GRAND VIDEOKE will show your multimedia files and folders much like a computer. Just use the directional buttons to navigate.
Press SEL to enter a folder, press START for play and press CANCEL to return or stop playback.
Pressing START while your media is playing will pause playback.

How to add more songs via Song Transfer Pack

With the GRAND VIDEOKE, you can play up to 11 Song Transfer Packs or STP including the 10 copied STPs in the internal memory.

To install the STP, make sure the GRAND VIDEOKE is off.
Then insert the STP into the SONG PACK slot on the side of the main player.
Now, turn on the GRAND VIDEOKE. After the initial loading, you may now use the STP.

COPYING STPs

Copying STPs to the GRAND VIDEOKE is very easy.
After installing the STP, go to MENU, then go to CONFIG, then to Song Pack Management.
Select Copy Song Pack and the GRAND VIDEOKE will copy the STP contents to the internal memory.

Copying will take around 5 minutes.
Please take note that you may only copy an STP with one unit. You may not copy the STP to another GRAND VIDEOKE when it was already copied before.

DELETING STPs

If you would like to delete the copied STPs from the internal memory of your GRAND VIDEOKE, just go to MENU, then CONFIG, then to Song Pack Managment.
Select Delete Song Pack and a directory of copied STPs will show up.
Just select the STP that you would like to remove and the GRAND VIDEOKE will automatically process the deletion. This will take around a minute.

You may copy your STP again to the same GRAND VIDEOKE unit after deletion.

How to add more mics to your unit for group singing

With GRAND VIDEOKE Symphony, you can add up to 2 wired mics by plugging the jack of the wired mics into the base of the unit.
With GRAND VIDEOKE Harmony, you can add one (1) more wired mic by plugging the jack of the wired mic into the base of the unit.

How to create your own singing backgrounds

GRAND VIDEOKE lets you use your own videos and pictures as video/photo backgrounds. No matter what the occasion is, you will surely have the right video background to go with your singing. Personalized video backgrounds can be sourced from the internal memory, SD Card, USB, and external video RCA jack.

 

Adding Videos and Pictures via USB/SD Card

Before plugging in your USB or SD Card to your GRAND VIDEOKE, create the following folders on your computer first: VIDEO for video files, PHOTO for pictures. Then you can put your videos and pictures to the respective folders.

After adding the videos or pictures to the USB or SD Card, just plug it into the GRAND VIDEOKE’s USB or SD Card slot. Now, go to MENU, and then to CONFIG, then to My BGV, then select SD Card or USB to select the source of your personalized BGV. Go back to the home screen and press BGV on your remote control to cycle through different types of backgrounds- select My Video or My Picture to use your personalized backgrounds from the USB or SD Card.

Adding Pictures to the Internal Memory

You can save pictures from your USB or SD Card to the internal memory of your GRAND VIDEOKE. The saved pictures can be used as picture backgrounds.

With the USB or SD Card plugged in, go to USER then go to PHOTOS, then select the file that you would like to copy to the internal memory. To select specific files, just press SEL on your remote for each of the files. If you want to select all of the files, press 0 on your remote. Then press RES to copy the files to the internal memory. Once copied, go to MENU, then CONFIG, then My BGV. Select “Built-in”.

Go back to the home screen and press BGV on your remote control to cycle through different types of backgrounds- select My Video or My Picture to use your personalized backgrounds from the USB or SD Card.

External Video Input via RCA Jack

(For GRAND VIDEOKE Symphony 2.0/GRAND VIDEOKE Symphony only)
To use this function, just plug in any external video device to the external video input at the back of your GRAND VIDEOKE. This includes DVD players and video cameras. On the home screen, press BGV on your remote to cycle through different types of backgrounds, then select Ext. Video.
